Mr. Cavalieri has over 20 years of investment experience, specializing in asset allocation and multi-asset portfolio construction for both individual and institutional investors. Most recently he worked at PIMCO, a leading global investment management firm, where he was an executive vice president overseeing product strategy for the firm’s $40 billion asset allocation business. He also led the firm’s product governance efforts, which included assessing and approving all new fund launches across investment strategies. In addition, he previously served as a strategist focused on real return (i.e., inflation-related) strategies, core bonds and absolute-return bond strategies. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2003, Mr. Cavalieri helped lead the turnaround of a private technology company. He also worked in the investment banking department of Credit Suisse First Boston, focused on executing equity and debt capital raising and M&A transactions across multiple sectors. Mr. Cavalieri holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and an undergraduate economics degree from UCLA.
